Valid value	Description
Item	Measurement source is an item being inspected.

Calibration-update	Periodic update, nominally daily, to the baseline energy profile of a device. Intended to enhance the ability to analyse an associated item measurement.
Other	Measurement source is other than an item, background, or calibration.
Background	Measurement source is the environmental background radiation.
